Exit
I examination is conducted at the end of the first 96
weeks after the completion of the Pre-clinical phase.
Students successful in Exit I examination would be eligible
to appear for the USMLE Step I examination in USA or
equivalent in other countries, subject to any local
laws.
Exit II examination is conducted after completion of
the Clinical core rotations and elective programs, i.e.
at the end of 126 weeks in clinical training. At this
stage students are eligible to appear for USMLE Step
II in USA or equivalent in other countries, subject
o any local laws. Theory and oral examinations are conducted
after the assessment by clinical evaluations. The Exit
Examinations are conducted by IUHS.
