Blood Donation Camp was conducted on the 25th November 2007 in the campus. This event was held in association with Al Wasl Hospital, Dubai, DSSP and Tiffany Foods LTD.

The students of UEIMS took bold step in April 2007 to help to raise AED. 50,000 to help Master Erisszel Cortez who was diagnosed leukemia. With the kind support of DSSP, Dubai Academic City and with the support of the administrative and academic staff, UEIMS students were able to raise AED. 143,000 and handed over to his parents.

UEIMS to hold a free dental screening camp in the campus in early March. This will be held in association with Al Dhamam Dental Clinic, Sharjah with its own dental faculty assistance.

UEIMS has also reached an agreement with some of the top hospitals in Dubai to organize regular hospital visits as part of the student’s curriculum so as to accustom them to the clinical rotations.

UEIMS also plans to organize several health related seminars for the general public. Topics that would be covered of general interest would be; Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension, Ischemic Heart Disease, Consanguinous Marriages and related Diseases & Infertility.

UEIMS to host 3rd UAE Medical Student’s Conference from 16th to 17th March 2008. UEIMS has participated the conference in the year 2006 and 2007 and it is indeed through the performance that the Emirates Medical Students Association has entrusted the opportunity to UEIMS to host event in 2008.
